I promise to toast to your health, my friend. For a moment there, I thought of our mutual friend Leo aka Chris. You may recall that he used to use a pic of Sal Mineo as an avatar. He knows me by Jean, but he used to also call me DEAN (after James Dean). Yeah, the unfortunate fate that is met by many a refugee from another country and at the hands of the aforementioned coyotes ... that's a very sad statement about our collective humanity. You have a nice night out there, Sierra. :)

Yeah, I know the southern border is a horrible mess but the ones that come here to make a better life ... I suppose our constitutional ideals should give them the chance to do so. It's just that Border Patrol and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) need to do a better job vetting those who might pose a risk to our national security. And that might have a lot to do with getting proper support (financial and/or otherwise) from Washington. One does feel bad for immigrants that are subject to coyotes and the inordinate amount of $$$ they have to pay to get over here.

Anyways, Sierra, I am OFF to tend to the night on the East Coast ~~~ enjoy yours, when it may find you. :)
