Aww poor dog. But I understand baloo. We have to have a home before we can really commit to taking in animals. But if he bites he can cause a lot of problems biting the wrong person.

Yes my dog is my alarm lol. Before, If I was asleep and someone comes on to the property, my cat would jump on me to wake me up lol. But my is dog barks and makes a lot of noise if someone arrives. When I open the door he's friendly to people I know. But to a stranger, ...they hear that big bark and think twice before getting out of their car 😂

But I do understand if you can't take your dog with you, what if he had bitten a child? I train dogs, so I can see if theyre aggressive by nature or just scared and reactive. Even though my dog was scared he never tried to bite me or anyone during his training. Here, the dog pounds are overcrowded. They don't care very much, at least at the shelter near me. They said my dogs entire litter was dumped by the road at about 4 weeks old. So the shelter is the place he was treated badly., no one else has access to him. they can really screw up dogs just by yelling at them. They sit in cages to rot. It's really sad. But I found my dog early enough in his life to turn him around before his fear turned to aggression. He's very sweet to welcomed guests in my home.

Maybe one day you can have a dog again, and you can go find the dog you love. :).
