My dog was a shelter dog too. He was abandoned as a really small puppy and spent 6 months at the shelter before I found him. He was scared of everything!! ...afraid of me and afraid to get in my car, afraid of the leash, afraid of everyone and any loud noises, even afraid of the cat lol. He wasn't potty trained and spun on the leash if I tried to walk him. He would cower like he'd been hit before. But I wanted to save him so I took him home. He's not afraid anymore, he's really friendly and a good dog. He learned how to poop outside and is being a puppy for the 1st time in his life. He makes me laugh lol.

But one night a man came to the door and my dog was growling at him, he was a stranger and didn't want him inside. Another time I was walking and a man approached from in back of me. My dog wouldn't let him pass. But he doesn't bite, he just growls and stares them down lol. I really like this dog I will keep him for life. I never get rid of animals, they grow old with me. :) I'm glad I found him.

He's a German shorthair and Pitbull mix. He's got big spots like a German shorthair but ears like a pitbull lol, he's really cute and funny too. He loves to swim in the lake. :)

That's true baloo, I walked my dog early in the morning, and see my neighbors out planting flowers. I got home and made breakfast and drank tea, read the paper. The entire time Sam is online wasting his breath. If I liked him I'd feel badly for him, but I don't like him so I watch him rage instead. He can't win, so he loses no matter what he says.
