can u tell if it happens when the people above flush, or is it just below?.....

do u have strong water pressure when u turn on a tap?....

u could have a bit of a air lock, is there a valve thingy on the side with a little handle u pull up n it lets pressure outa the tank? (a tpr valve)...that valve should have a pipe running from it that stops any boiling hot water spraying on u when u pull the handle on the valve, dont be in front of it if it doesnt, if u pull the spring loaded handle n theres no pipe or else u could get burned....but it should have a pipe running down 2 a drain....bear in mind our building codes could be totally diff 2 urs....if u pull that valve handle u may get the sound of escaping air, hold the handle untill u hear the escaping air sound change 2 that of flowing water, then just let go of the spring loaded handle n itll close back off....if theres any chance u think u may get burned or dont feel confident then call a plumber.....

is that only if u got the hot water running or does it do it all the time?....
