i was using a 1/2 in socket on it when i changed the pipes...but i just rummage around till i find something that fits.....i put the old exhaust in a box n when i picked it up i surprised how heavy it was...the new pipes weigh nothing compared 2 them.....
harleys r fun 2 ride...theyre a bit harder 2 ride than a jap sports bike unless ur going in a straight line...but they got way more character about em....chucking 1 around on the rd like its a dirt bike or something is great...once they get going they feel pretty light n nimble......
its due 4 a service, but its a long way 2 the nearest harley dealership....ive decided 2 do it myself, but the oil is still nice n clean n it goes good...i stuck a set of Vance n Hines short shots on it a while ago, i thought i may have needed a tune after that but it goes better than it did with the stock exhaust, n its noticably lighter by about 30lb...ill but 1 of those tuning modules that u plug in2 the bike n punch in what exhaust u put on it n any changes uv made n it tunes it 2 those specs...i can change oil n filters etc...

lotsa dirt rds around here but harley belt drives n grit dont mix very well apparently.....should get a little sportster with a chain drive 4 dirt rds...
