Yea I think it's mainly protestants who have an issue with the Mary thing. Well that I can understand, what you described about the consistency of it being a source of comfort for you. I'll say this though, no offence...but Catholic church services i.e mass, are SO dreary and boring when compared with the other churches. All you have to do is look at the Catholic tv channel EWTN, and compare it to the Evangelical channel God tv. The difference is like night and day. EWTN would put you to sleep, whereas the services in the Evangelical megachurches are like rock concerts.

What are your brother's wife's reasons for hating the RC church? Is she Catholic too? It's funny, I'd say that today, America is a much more religious country than Ireland. One of the popes, (the one that came before John Paul) said that Ireland was the most Catholic country in the world. But now, just about everybody in Ireland hates the Catholic church.

I don't think I'll ever follow a religion, but I've recently started getting interested in Taoism. Although, I think that's more a philosophy than a religion. It emphasizes the need for balance in all aspects of life, everything. Yin & Yang, ya know? America could do with a lot of that right now. Far too many noisy conservatives and equally noisy "progressives" (yes inverted commas for them) hogging the microphone so to speak. The moderates/centrists are being drowned out.

big phones would be cool 2 use but theyre a pain in ur pocket, i got a samsung s10 which id say is medium but i have 2 take it outa my pocket when i sit down or get in2 a car...thats when u risk leaving it behind when u leave or hop outa the car....

phew, my laptops mouse/scratch pad stopped working, n when i tried 2 reboot it was just dead n wouldnt turn on...i was gonna grab the tablet out but then the laptops screen lit up n is working again....i hate using the tablet....
