There's a lot to like about Scotland, but there's also a lot to hate. Many Americans (not you and the rest of the yankees on here obviously) have a romantic view of this country, and think it's the best thing since sliced bread. But it's nothing like the way they perceive it. The towns and citites are full of drunks, drug addicts and immigrants. Although the immigration problem is not as bad as Englands yet. There is a lot of single mums, a lot of people on welfare, and a lot of poverty. But the scummy Scottish government try to hide that bit. On the plus side, once you step out of the cities, Scotland becomes wonderful. It really is like you see it in the movies. Lochs, mountains, hills, eagles soaring above, red deer butting horns, misty topped mountains, castles perched on hilltops, golden moors, blue rivers, lakes, streams and all sorts of cool shit. But America has so much cool shit as well, once you leave the cities.
