the BREAKING NEWS here and with no real way to describe the GREATEST OF ALL TIME. He’s earned it and with career statistics never to be matched. The one that will always stand is thus; appeared as a player TEN times in the SUPER BOWL which is more than any franchise has ever done. So he made it official and with a multi-part INSTAGRAM post; TB12 retires from a game that he oh so loved. Having spent 20 seasons with the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS, there was one glaring omission in those he chose to laud; at the very least, the New England fans. But that is his choice to do so or not. Legendary status comes to those who achieve great feats and one gets put upon a pedestal by the zealotry of a somewhat blind fan base. Although, that does not prevent said athlete from lacking in the qualities of a true gentleman … perhaps, it was an oversight … but I think not … I think it was a measured response.
