that’s an awesome story … sounds like she was a real boss lady lol ….I’d for sure think being in politics would have it’s pros & cons, but I’d think it would be a pretty cool life with lots & lots of perks …but I could for sure see you in politics …always very likable & diplomatic …lol maybe you should reconsider :P

20-20, if we only knew then what we know now. Yes she still resonates, anyone who says time heals all wounds doesnt know what theyre talking about, bc some thing you never get over. Just you talking about your brother gets my eyes misty tbh, its a hard loss and overwhelming grief., it changed me forever.

But tbh shes not gone to me, even now, she's just where i cant see her until later. I know she'll be there waiting, i know it, and i still have sisters ..we all lost her so we all have that shared love and loss. Its a lighter feeling now but that wound doesnt close. I dont imagine it ever will. Our job now is to remember them well. :) Im grateful for every second she was alive because like you say, i took for granted her life. I never even considered she would die, ... And We Go ON. lol :)

no, no plans for the holiday other than to stay home and away from tourists lol.. or maybe go up to the smaller lake where they dont show up in bunches. Either way it will be peaceful :) Enjoy the sun and have a great game day JP!

Unfortunately for us, theyve calculated correctly. With PGE they do make more by paying out to lawyers and lawsuits than they would keeping their own equipment maintained and safe. Especially when they can wait YEARS to pay, ..we're still waiting for them to pay our claim even though they were found liable for the fire a long time ago. If anyone else had set that fire, they be in jail by now, yet no one from PGE ever goes to jail. They wiped out an entire town that same year. We were lucky compared to them, we just lost trees and a cabin. ..and the meadow and wildlife :(. but all that is coming back and we will rebuild.

winter sucks sometimes, true enough, but it makes the spring all that much better. There is nothing like the seasons and Im glad we have them here. I look forward to the spring bulbs coming up and the big melt-off. Plus i can make snowmen when Im bored lol. :D

Im so sorry to hear about your brother JP, ♥ I wasnt aware you had a brother who had passed. I lost my sister when we were both in our twenties, ..it almost killed me, tbh. I couldnt breathe right for a long time. But i know what you mean about insurance companies, and the fact they play their money games w genuinely sick people is horrible and a very sad marker as to the state of the world. But youre right, it all comes down to profits vs expenditures to them, and profits win, no matter who dies.

Aallan has never seen snow? wow Im surprised, i cant imagine since n.cal is a winter wonderland. But i guess there isnt a ton of snowflakes falling south of the border. I actually like it! ..as long as Im warm and can get out of my driveway lol, its beautiful lining the trees. But i did move to the snow-line on purpose, ..to only get a fraction of the snowfall that most the mountain receives, and last year wasnt funny! lol That was too much too fast and ten days later, I didnt recognize my own front yard and was trapped./ But i was warm! :D Hopefully this year will be a kinder winter.

PGE ! pshaw those bastards! I put up a pic of a cabin on my page last week., it was our family spot higher up the sierras, and was devoured by the Dixie fire, set by PGE who sets about 90% of the state fires. Their corporate overlords in their infinite wisdoms have decided its more profitable to let their equipment run itself into the dirt and spew sparks, start fires and pay off the lawsuits than it is to maintain their equipment. And as we already know, profits rule lol. .. screw the customers and their lives, homes, livestock, pets and vehicles. Theyll pay our family for the losses and will still make billions more than they would have if they hadnt set any fire at all.
