When it comes to this upcoming election, its results, and any ramifications from said results ~~~ it's best to steer clear of voicing one's opinion. When it comes to making that opinion known, the HOUSE OF CARDS is just that. And, lately, when it falls ... it falls hard. There's still a definite air of CANCEL CULTURE out there and, in its intent, it almost seems deliberate. That Japanese maxim states it all; see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. In a state of pure oblivion, I'm sure the monkeys enjoy their bananas. But wouldn't that proverb have an unintended hedonistic objective? HA!

So, I was looking at that Dublin cam or whatever they call that cobblestoned area in front of THE TEMPLE BAR and I was wondering why I see so many people wearing coats ... is 61°F or thereabouts that cold or are they just trying to look fashionable whilst abroad. Of course, one ventures into the aforementioned establishment and imbibes a wee bit ~~~ enjoying the atmosphere with a few well-poured Guinness. That being said, CHEERS to your end of things and the week that unfolds before you. Have a Good One ... OFF to finish laundry for the people I live with (part of being akin to Cinderella). ;)

Not much happening here ... wish I had something cool to share, but I am akin to one of those extended NASA launches ~~~ on the launch pad, but yet to have taken flight. And the BACKGROUND? It's the Vila Vella enceinte (Tossa de Mar) along the Catalan coast. I liked the look of it at night and also wondered what it would be like to sit upon that ancient wall ... maybe, even enjoy a few beers whilst sitting atop of it. That steam effect is PRICELESS ... isn't it? It's probably a byproduct of some of the steampipe system that winds its way throughout the city and that's an older section of the city. Although, in that immediate area, there's an underground concourse that connects Downtown Crossing to Park Street (a pair of MBTA subway stops). I use it, but I've noticed not too many people do. It can give off a somewhat isolated feeling and I don't know how many people feel safe using it. I'm not sure if it was at the OMNI or another older hotel in Boston, but I somewhat unnerved a few guests by stating that the only thing missing in the hallway was the kid from THE SHINING. BOOH👻

Not to jinx myself, but I always state out loud that I am a guest in the room for a night or so and if there is a spirit in the room that they allow me to proceed peaceably or something akin to that. Anyway, Bro, the evening over there soon gives way to a new day and Friday heralds in another weekend ~~~ ENJOY yours to the absolute and whatever you may do with it.

This place is near the Boston Common and the Massachusetts State House. Last year, I stood here after a Celtics' game, but no ghostly apparitions presented themselves ... although, one could sense some lingering energy. ENJOY the afternoon that soon finds you and whatever you may be doing. :)
