I agree, they seem overall calmer, ..have weeded out what's important or things not needing their own time and energy.

This particular woman was never fluffy or superficial. She was found in a closet when she was a young girl, half naked and half starved. ..taken away by the state after they learned her mother was schizophrenic, her father an alcoholic. She was too traumatized and depleted to put up for adoption so she was a ward of the state. They tested her and found her IQ was higher than Albert Einstein's so she was placed in the care of nuns and flourished in school.. attended Harvard and then oxford. She returned to the states to leave her education at the door and became a herbalist and acupuncturist for most of her adult life. A remarkable and resilient woman. Long story but only the surface of her, and all true. She was a force and I miss her dearly.
