Being a caregiver is very hard. I was a caregiver for my mother. I hope you're doing well with it. I hope your mother realizes how lucky she is to have a son to care for her. It is the best thing possible. To have family who takes an interest in their parents that's how it should be.

I will not disagree with you on the use of drugs and or alcohol in the indigenous community. It is unfortunate. Most reservations have few job opportunities for the people that live there. Unless they're close to an urban environment they will be living and trying to eat out a living on the reservation. It makes it unfortunate that the young people have to leave.
