Well each country within the EU has it's own healthcare system. Britain's is the NHS (National Health Service) and Ireland's is the HSE (Health Service Executive). She also has coverage, if she wished to go private. I do appreciate your reassurances. Yes, obesity is a problem in mostly western Europe, but honestly...I wouldn't say that it's as big a problem as it is in the U.S (please excuse the pun)...people who are big in America, are very big...especially in the south. My heart goes out to them, it really does. Because the temptation in America, to eat comfort food, is so much greater than it is here.
