yeah it is sorta similiar, they have a different type of redwood trees here that the coastal types, and a lot less tourists than those following the 101 corridor too. Its also a lOt more remote than russian river lol. ..thats the best part. RR gets packed w tourists, youre lucky to find a patch of sand to sit on. We just get them trickling in on a steady basis througout the season but can go for miles without running into anyone once we get into the wild.
