Speaking of all things EDMONTON ... I read where Draisaitl is starting to live up to his HYPE and I am not sure if I saw highlights from an old game or from the game against the CANUCKS ... the mad backhand pass that almost went halfway down the ice which led to a GOAL. All's GOOD here and wishing the same for your end of things. Yes, if I do make it up there, I do hope that you are kind enough to introduce me to the Road House ladies. ;p I could use some of that confidence. HA!

Anyway, my Good Friend and as always; wishing you and yours the very best. Have a nice afternoon up there and ENJOY 2MORO'S playoff games (if you may watch) <<< a Super Bowl trophy awaits the two teams that make it to NEW ORLEANS. I can just imagine what kind of $$$ they're getting for tickets. I do expect Messier to put in a good word for us. ;)

So I heard that the OILERS third line is a trio of brothers who are akin to the HANSON BROTHERS. I told this news to President Trump ... yeah, I'm his silent partner in this new business venture (i.e., the American Presidency) and he was like ... the Hanson brothers? ... I always liked that catchy tune ... Mmmbop! HA, so - tonight - you guys play host to the Couver Canucks ... EH? I'd like to catch a game where some team is either playing the Kracken or that new team out of UTAH. I hope this short note finds you well and staying relatively WARM. Have a good night up there and I promise to send my regards to Melania. The COOL thing about being her Secret Service agent is that you get to touch her feet. ;o

So, AMERICA swore in a new president or, at the very least, Chief Justice John Roberts did and now DONALD can reach for the stars. One hopes the whole power trip thing doesn't go to his head and that he is as forthright as he is thoughtful. I always thought the whole POTUS thing was pretty straight forward, aside from the want of reelection. All one needs to do is be in tune with the advisors you have entrusted with certain sectors of governance, not get too ahead of yourself, and take to criticism kindly. But, YEAH, he's definitely not on the GREEN TEAM but that's good for the commoner who is afforded no opportunity to decry rising living costs. I did talk to the DON and he asked me two things; how you were making out with the Canadian COLD FRONT and how the Gulfstream was a flyin'. HA!

All's GOOD on the EASTERN FRONT and wishing your slice of paradise the very same. It's definitely warm somewhere and someone is enjoying a few chilled CORONAS. Oh, yeah, for some reason, Pres. Trump seems to loathe anything coming out of Mexico and I just don't get that. You'd think you would want to be on friendly terms with a neighbor ... especially, one offering free TEQUILA shots. Have a good night up there and do STAY WARM. ;)

Yeah, the RUSSIAN FRONT ... how come you never see it highlighted on some travel site or on someone's bucket list? About that man who spent time languishing in a distant prison camp >>> our minds are geared in such a way that we are capable of adapting and overcoming even the harshest of conditions, but - for some reason - some of us have that innate ability of remaining invincible. I see the CANUCKS put an end to the win streak, but I see you guys are now back HOME thru the beginning of the new month. 2MORO, CAPTAIN AHAB gets sworn in and they are doing so indoors (citing poor weather conditions). But I think Señor Trump values his head more than he leads on. Although, that Caribbean beach locale would - at this point - surely beat the state of THE STATES. HA!

ENJOY your Sunday for what it is and a bright start to the new week. As well, continue to stay WARM and ever SAFE.

Good afternoon to and for your end of things, Jim ~~~ here's hoping that those building codes keep you away from the wrath of the Siberian Express. I can only imagine the hell that one of those faraway gulags holds for all who unfortunately find themselves on the wrong end of some Russian with more apparent power.

Speaking of power ~~~ the remaining NFL teams flex their muscles, this weekend, and to see who gets to find themselves to either the AFC or NFC CHAMPIONSHIP. I myself would still like to have the Gulfstream bring me to some warm Caribbean shoreline and I can watch a different game of fútbol. Ha, long weekend here; due to the Martin Luther King holiday observance and TRUMP getting to swear on a Monday-in-January inspired bible. ;)

Yeah, judging by your forecasted Saturday weather LOW, you might want to put in a call for the Gulfstream and find your way to one of the Virgin Islands. I see the OILERS are still on a road trip and have a small WINSTREAK in play. THANKS, for the 411 on Nadine. Here's hoping she stays well and comes back to us with some cool new stories to tell. Stay WARM up there and continue to stay SAFE. Enjoy some CHILL time, today, and the upcoming weekend. Speaking of CHILL-ing, they say VIRGIN GORDA (British Virgin Islands) is supposed to be NICE. ;)

Ah, Patty SMYTH! Damn McEnroe beat me to the PUNCH ... HA! But she surely was one of those turn-your-head lookers and with a SMOOTH ROCKER voice ... in some ways, similar to Pat BENATAR. ;p

Yeah, it would have been cool to check off some faraway bucket list adventures ... but, perhaps, TIME will surely stand still and allow for some future dates to be enjoyed full well. So, the WILD CARD weekend is over and the teams are down to EIGHT ... advantage to the bookies in VEGAS which makes me wonder if they have any good ITALIAN restaurants in SIN CITY. ;) See you @8 P.M. ... I made reservations for all of us @THE BELLAGIO. ;)

Tuesday afternoon soon finds you and THE MOODY BLUES told me that it was okay for you to enjoy some of it. I hope all is good, on your end of things, and continues as such. STAY SAFE out there, Mon Ami.

Yeah, nothing says WITSEC like a guy wading waist deep in MAUI ... as Jim scoots to the side a wee bit ... just in case the NEW YORK guys don't have a sniper position set up onshore. But, I suppose, finding good Italian food that far from the mainland would be something someone would want to keep to themselves. HEY, HOW YA DOIN? How many of them cannolis do you want, anyway?

Never been to Hawai'i or experienced the calming shoreline of Maui ... perhaps, in the next life. I'm glad that you have those cool memories to regale others with. A new Monday finds you, my good friend, and I hope it finds you well ~~~ ENJOY the week ahead!

Good Saturday morning to and for you, Mon Ami. Yeah, nothing quite like hearing Book 'em, Danno to ruin your day in PARADISE. But - with all the Hawaiian ladies doling out the quintessential LEIS (no pun intended) - I can just imagine the allure of such a temperate climate. It surely is a hidden JEWEL. What's that phrase they like to say to mainlanders ... ??? ... J.O.J. (just off jet) or F.O.B. (fresh off boat). I still recall hearing a story about a mainlander sitting on a picnic table (the table part of it) and getting chewed out by some rather large Samoan. HA! I see you guys are in Chicago and that Al Capone might take in the game ... GO, STAN MAKITA! HA! Have a nice weekend where you are and do take the time to RELAX. ;)
