Nah, I don't think you're alone. It's all that apparent pent-up sexual frustration that the young Amish ladies exude. It's not that they're repressed, but they live such a cloistered life that I'm sure they just want to bust out and live what we see as a normal life. You have to give that community kudos for being so self-sufficient, amid the technologies that they seemingly reject. It's admirable, but like any community they must have their own shortcomings and one of them is not allowing their young to fully express themselves.

So it's too bad that Hugh Hefner wasn't still around to exploit that apparent shortcoming and have a nice Amish inspired pictorial spread (no pun intended).
