Hey Rob! Yesterday our whole area was hit by all kinds of twirly and straight winds but we remained unscathed!! I just enjoyed another of my Hef brews that was smooth with a fruity aftertaste! My only criticism would be the can was 4 ounces too short;( Hope your bad weather wasn't and you had a cool first of two days off!

The only news I heard running around was the silly number that Vlad Guerrero was asking from the BLUE JAYS (around $600 million) and Toronto had around $500 million on the table. Plus, I heard the METS may be in the hunt for Vlad. I say that the $$$ becomes ridiculous, because every star after the next demands more and more. It ends pricing regular people out of attending the games.

Painting gig is what it is ... a temporary way to make some well-needed money and get back into the groove of things. Should have already been off of one job, but the painter I work for has had to seemingly hold the hand of what is definitely not a finish carpenter. Imagine having to patch woodwork that one should only be focused on painting or my biggest pet peeve ... finish nails that aren't set. I used to work for a G.C. and - thru him and my brother Vince - I know how the finished product should look BUT I keep my mouth shut. Imagine not putting in a GFI next to a bathroom sink which makes me think that someone didn't pull a permit. Over here, that GFI needs to be a dedicated circuit running all the way back to the panel and not having any hack tapping off that dedicated feed.

Anyway, YEAH, I am active here ... because it's quiet and much easier to maintain. Work 2MORO and, perhaps, thru the week. But I will always take off time to keep my future prospects free of wear and tear.

Aw thank you Rob! I'm grateful for you too my friend. Always glad to run into you when I can check in. I haven't been too much recently, just busy and involved with relationship and making income.

Very sorry to hear about you and Tammy. I'm glad to hear that the worst of it has passed, but I hope you both don't have lingering effects. Every time I catch something, I think of COVID and hope I don't encounter those sensory deficits (i.e., taste and smell). I'm not knocking anyone in particular, but - in particular, during the winter months - it's so damned hard to try to stay healthy. I've been avoiding some of the congregate settings that find its way to my current situation, without appearing to come off as antisocial. But - first and foremost - we must take care of ourselves. Otherwise, I do hope the two of you remain free of everyone else's bullshit.

I was able to watch the 1ST HALF of last night's game and it was pretty much a done deal. Not sure if the LAFD STRONG had anything to do with it, but Stafford has been a great addition to the RAMS. I see they're calling out BRADY, about the upcoming LIONS' game. Something to do with him having a financial interest in VEGAS and the RAIDERS trying to woo Detroit's OC as a possible head coach.

I hope you're doing well and that these wildfires remain distant from you (the smoke too). Not sure if any of this has a tendency to cascade and fall upon other parts of your state.
