I hear you loud and clear. You've been through a lot with Rob, and I understand why you feel the way you do. It's unfortunate when friendships unravel, especially under such painful circumstances. I respect your decision to move on and not pursue any future relationship with him. I won't discuss it further.
I understand your frustration, but cloning Rob and engaging in that behavior only escalates the situation, as we've seen from both sides. It leads to nothing good unless those in the dispute work on things willingly. You and I have managed to resolve conflicts many times in the past and now, and I wish you and Rob could find a more constructive way to settle your differences. I know Rob needs to meet you halfway, but I understand it may be futile at this point, and it's probably best to move on from him.
It's truly sad how everything has unfolded between you two, between you and Genny, and between us. What a shame. Despite everything, while trust may be lacking and healing will take time, I won't give up on you like Rob and Genny did. Mark, no matter how long it takes, I'm committed to restoring what we once had.
I’m totally fine with coexisting with you on the sites, even if it’s not as friends. Thanks for removing the clone! I believe we can set a good example for others to follow, that’s for sure.
Yeah, the Human Condition may permit us to miss on certain people and respective to how we may have factored into that specific person's LIFE. So, last week, I had to appease my roommates and canceled that trip into Boston (actually, Cambridge) for the FOURTH. I am somewhat regretting it, now ~~~ but - hindsight being 20/20 - there will be countless other fireworks' displays at the ready and not having to deal with my roommates ... that might be one of those foregone conclusions yet to come. What I used to like were the spur of the moment trips ~~~ they were more unexpected and, in some ways, more enjoyable. But the weather is supposed to be cooperative and that bodes well for the fireworks to POP OFF as it should. I still recall the year that it started to absolutely PISS DOWN RAIN and whomever was controlling the fireworks let them all go at once. It had already started and then the skies opened up. I was watching the fireworks from the LONGFELLOW BRIDGE which one cannot do anymore. I think I somewhat dried, on the way back to where the car was parked (Green Street Garage or thereabouts).
That being said, mate, ENJOY the Wednesday afternoon that soon finds you and whatever may be going on over there. Somewhat boring video of a person walking across the bridge, but you'll get an idea of how one would be able to view the fireworks along the Charles River Basin.
