Ah, what gives me PEACE? Perhaps, the faraway idyll that consumes my thoughts; a well stocked bungalow in an undisclosed Caribbean locale. Of course, it comes complete with a small yet significant Cayman account … hey, I have to keep my fridge filled with chilled French champagne 😝

TRUTH? Peace with oneself or keeping the peace with my fellow human beings?

The latter is hard to do, because humans are complicated simpletons. You notice that I didn’t say they were complex <<< saying that is not misanthropic but an accurate description.

Peace with oneself is an elusive ideal, but it’s doable. We have to compromise our expectations and accept our situation for what it is >>> thus, YES, we can be at peace with the moment. Accepting our lot and releasing our need to always be in control and that’s what life amounts to >>> a series of events where we are forced to make choices about who and what makes us CONTENT … true contentment is PEACE 🤔 peace of mind and peace of heart.
