The only words that should resonate, in my remembrance of 9-11, should be these; Imagine, for a second, if not for the malevolence of mankind … the lives that could have been 😞 <<< these telling words can and should apply to any situation that faces our tiny world.

As far as the retelling of events and how people choose to interpret events; that’s their entitlement, but it does not mean that they’re right. This is where mankind’s greatest challenge comes into play … is he - the collective HE - capable of setting aside his PRIDE and acquiescing for the greater good.

i was in HELL a few years ago, the Germans were the border guards.
i was in Munich airport, i had two officers in my meeting room questioning me.
you know how you see on TV, good cop, bad cop ?
these were both bad cop.
i felt like i was in the 1940's. talk about quiet intimidation.
i'd say more but i'm sure your familiar about what i mean.

Oh wow, an earthquake? I guess I never realized they had earthquakes over in Germany. That had to have been pretty exciting for sure!

My first, and only, experience with an earthquake was when I was living in Kansas. I honestly never expected to feel one there, but an earthquake happened somewhere in Oklahoma and we felt it all the way up in Kansas. I think it was back in November 2011. I remember the whole house shaking and the dishes rattling around in the cabinets. It definitely caught me off guard because you just don't expect something like that in Kansas. Pretty wild!

Speaking of pretty wild, I just got back from a show with my mom at Brewster Street Ice House in Corpus Christi. The opening performers were Irish musicians James Keegan and Tomás McCarthy, along with Irish vocalist Clódagh McCarthy. They put on a really cool mix of Irish folk, acoustic, and rock before Geoff Tate came on.

Geoff Tate is one of my all-time favorite singers, so seeing him live was pretty special. He was actually born in Stuttgart, Germany.

Then Geoff and his band brought the heavy metal, and it was a total blast! My mom even got to talk with James and Tomás during the show, and they had a little conversation about where they were from. We also got to see Clódagh perform, and she was awesome too. It was such a cool experience and definitely a night we'll remember!
