Oh, have you ever been to Normandy?

Have you looked into the history of D-Day and the locations involved?

Ah, YES, don't you like the lengths that corporate GREED can go? Imagine million-dollar bonuses but the CORE of your workforce gets no severance ~~~ sometimes, the duplicitous nature of mankind is EPIC and that's not a compliment. When my brother was sick with his cancer, Humana cut back on his inhalers and - in the end - the CEO takes home millions in stock options. Yes, duplicity is again at the forefront. The inhalers would not have spared him his death but were designed to mitigate symptoms.

I did not score a ticket to 2NIGHT'S game, but OVECHKIN is in town to continue his GR8 chase. Gretsky rubs the rabbit's foot and OVI scores a HAT TRICK ... and the crowd ROARS ... have a nice night out there.

I think a Hollywood makeup team needs to make me look a bit desperate and have me wash ashore. A simple sign will be attached to my person: PLEASE, BE KIND TO ME. I AM THE BYPRODUCT OF A TRUMP TARIFF. I am for sure that the locals will be kind to one émigré.

Yes, BASEBALL has become akin to nothing but having the good sense to properly analyze a pitcher's pitch count. But - because they don't have good middle relievers - many teams falter and that is why one sees some starters stay in longer than they should (considering the length of the season and keeping an arm healthy). SUNNY here but we still have chilly mornings. Again, cue the Caribbean steel drums. Have a good one, Mi Amigo, and THANK YOU for always staying in touch. Much appreciated!

Yes, GEOGRAPHY does have a lot to do with how sports teams plan their travels and/or schedules. I am for sure that an NFL football team would do well to pack the confines of ALOHA STADIUM and I am for sure that the wives&families of NFL players would enjoy the trip to HAWAI'I. No different than the occasional NFL contest on the distant European landscape.

The RED SOX have somewhat of a conundrum with one of their star players (Rafael Devers). He is in a massive slump (0-19 and 15 strikeouts). Here's the quandary; he was our starting 3rd baseman, but we went out and acquired another (Alex Bregman) and moved Devers to DH. He has a clause that disallows time in the MINORS to hone one's craft, is noticeably heavier, and I am thinking may be traded to a team who will gobble up another one of our stars (possibly, WEST COAST). Who knows ... but I do know this ... April FOOL'S DAY is here and I would be a FOOL not to say ... may THE FATES let me win the lottery. And OFF to the Caribbean we will go ... I promise to send you a postcard and some expensive WINE. ;)

IF YOU BUILD IT, HE WILL COME or - sing another pronoun - THEY MIGHT STAY. Baseball is a tricky game, when it comes to the financial aspect of it. The owners have to deal with high-priced talent that happens to want bigger and bigger MEGA contracts. And the fans are the ones who end up taking it in the backside. The teams that decide to bolt for greener pastures always seem to BALK (no pun intended) at cities that cannot afford to cut these team tax breaks and that leaves the ghostly fields that you mention. It happened here, with an A affiliate team from the now defunct NY-PENN league, but the local university (UMASS LOWELL) now gets to play in and on LELACHEUR PARK. It also happened with a farm team associated with the NEW JERSEY DEVILS, but UMASS LOWELL now has the TSONGAS ARENA too. Perhaps, that was the plan all along. Who knows ... have a Good Night out there and see you at the VAUNTED CS1 premiere ... the CORONAS are on me. ;)

I have it on good word that a CS1 relaunch will occur during the wee hours of the morning and subject to Pacific Coast Time. Superstitions abound. I was watching an MLB game, yesterday, and a batter actually pulled some tape off his bat and started chewing it. GO, DODGERS! ;)

I see letting Brad Marchand go was a good thing for the hapless BRUINS ~~~ they are on an eight-game skid. OUCH! Postseason usually has a lot to do with who peaks and who folds. The only team on a pretty good roll are the BLUES and do watch out for VEGAS. Have a Good Sunday out there and a bright start to the new week.

Hola, Mi Amigo, I thought of you when I watched a repeat of TWO AND A HALF MEN. Alan had brought a wine to dinner that he said was made in Canada >>> TWO BUCK CANUCK <<< and - with this current escalating TARIFF WAR - that might be all any of us can afford. HAHA, TWO--BUCK CANUCK ... what a fine way to impress the ladies. Do ENJOY some well-deserved YOU time. ;)

By the way and all kidding aside ~~~ what is Pres. Trump's fascination with GREENLAND? I know the U.S. has a base there, but is it that strategic of a location or some natural resource grab? Perhaps, it is a future training ground for super soldiers and/or RUSSIAN-like hockey players. ;o <<< insert alcohol here (Putin's VODKA reserve).

Oh, YEAH, that F1 movie looks like a WILD RIDE (no pun intended). Can't recall the last time I saw a movie @the cinema ... perhaps, this one.

MOVIE STAR? I surely wish I was ... not so much for the $$$ or the other trappings of FAME, but a nice Hollywood girlfriend would make me happy or so one thinks. Not much happening here, Jim. Our days are still starting out cold and - even though - it says SPRING ... the days aren't too warm either. Back to the glam of the Hollywood arm-candy ~~~ I don't know who I'd pick. Maybe, they'd pick me.

Back to the NHL and all things S-P-O-R-T-S ... I was looking at the standings and I see the KINGS are in 2nd place. Not sure if that bodes well for the OILERS and who you'd play in the playoffs. Have a GREAT NIGHT out there and do ENJOY your YOU time. I will try to attend the CHILLSPOT1 relaunch party, but Julianne Hough did not RSVP ... so I am coming alone. :( HA!
